Youngstown is a small agricultural village in the heart of Alberta's ranch country. The settlement of approximately 180 people touts itself as a "Sportsman's Paradise" with plenty of wild game and trout fishing.

In 2006, Youngstown had a population of 170 living in 86 dwellings, a 7.6% decrease from 2001. The village has a land area of 1.00 km² (0.4 sq mi) and a population density of 169.7/km² (439.5/sq mi).[1]
