Young Italy (current)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Young Italy is a social-democratic faction within Forza Italia, led by Stefania Craxi (daughter of Bettino). It was founded on 16 July 2004.

Its leading members include Maurizio Sacconi, Margherita Boniver, Renzo Tondo, Giuliano Cazzola, Luigi Fabbri and Sergio Pizzolante, all former members of the Italian Socialist Party. Despite its social-democratic roots, they are keen supporters of the European People's Party.
