Young Gifted and Talented

The Young, Gifted and Talented (YG&T) programme offers a variety of services to the top 10% of the brightest and most talented young learners in England. The YG&T programme, which is under contract to the Department for Children, Schools and Families, is delivered through CfBT Education Trust; a leading educational consultancy and service organisation.
At the heart of this programme is the Learner Academy, which has been created to motivate and challenge gifted and talented learners by offering them subject-specific events, activities, resources and services for that include, math, modern languages, creative arts, sports and drama. The Learner Academy has also been established for children and young people who demonstrate high ability or potential in vocational, learners, and entrepreneurial and cross-curricular skills.
YG&T is a collaborative, dynamic project bringing together universities in every region, regional partnerships, national organisations, and private companies both large and small, to focus on individual pupil needs and provide support for those pupils, teachers and other staff, governors, parents/carers and other interested people.
