You Me & Us is the debut album by English pop singer and actress Martine McCutcheon, released in 1999. It went into the UK album charts at #2.
The lead single taken from the album is "Perfect Moment" which managed to reach #1 in the singles chart in five countries (United Kingdom, Ireland, Switzerland, Italy and Israel) and was given platinum certification in the UK.
The second single "I've Got You" reached #6 in the UK singles chart.
The third and final single is the double A-side "Talking in Your Sleep"/"Love Me". The songs were covers of "Talking in Your Sleep" by Crystal Gayle and "Love Me" by Bee Gees. "Love Me" was also chosen as the 1999 BBC Children in Need single, with all proceeds from the release going to the charity. The single also reached #6 in the UK singles chart but was given silver certification.
"Maybe This Time" is also a cover of the Liza Minnelli song that featured in the musical Cabaret.
Since its release, the album has sold in excess of 800,000 worldwide sales (and 660,000 UK sales) and has been certified 2x platinum. It is McCutcheon's biggest selling album to date.
