Hi Youssef. I anwsered your question in http://www.consumerium.org/wiki/wiki.phtml?title=Talk:Coparmex . I also added Coparmex to List of employer associations. If you have more additions to this list they would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I was going to mention Banque du Japon but you've probably already caught it by the time I'll finish this message... :)
Hephaestos 13:04 28 Jun 2003 (UTC) Knew it. You're good. *grin* - H

Sorry. I am wikying at several wikis at the same time.

Hi Youssefsan - Which question were you refering to in your note here? Which page in Meta, in other words? -- User:Kwekubo

 • Ah, now I remember... I knew that there was already a Wiktionary, I made reference to that in my comment. Just so you know... :) -- User:Kwekubo

Salut Youssef.

Dis moi, je vais bientot m absenter de wikipedia pour un moment. J'aurais besoin d'un porte parole au cas ou, de mon opinion sur un petit point (qui peut ne jamais se produire). Serais tu d accord ? ant

Hey Youssefsan. Its WhisperToMe from the Spanish page. I found that Austin, Texas had a bare-bones version of its English article that nobody else knew about. I also created a barebones one for Houston (I simply subsituted "ville" for "capital", and put "Houston" instead of "Austin". Believe me, I am not taking French). WhisperToMe 04:34, 19 Sep 2003 (UTC)

Gracias for the advice on the Spanish pages at VfD. They've all been deleted now. Angela 05:14, Sep 22, 2003 (UTC)

Hi Youssef.

Please translate Talk:Tlatelolco massacre. I took a crack at it, but then it got a little difficult and I gave up. You'll also find a comment from me regarding NPOV; you may have the expertise to deal with it. -Smack 07:08, 5 Oct 2003 (UTC)

[edit] News source

You added to the Current events the following:

Evo Morales has said that Gonzalo Sánchez de Lozada, president of Bolivia may be preparing a coup.

I'm wondering what's your source? (It's standard to supply the story source's URL right after the entry.) --Menchi 23:53, 5 Oct 2003 (UTC)

It's fine if the source that you got it from is not in English. For the French heat stroke disaster a few months ago, the sources for them were mainly French. Sometimes English sources on specific news are hard-to-find or may be non-existent. --Menchi 05:05, 6 Oct 2003 (UTC)

Hi Youssefsan, just wanted to tell you it's fun to work with you together on the Wikipedia:Multilingual statistics! --denny vrandečić 15:04, Feb 22, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Press Release

I see you contributed to the creation of the press release. Might you be willing to follow these steps, and send off the press release? -- user:zanimum

Yes it was; in fact pretty much every edit by that IP can be considered vandalism, it's undoubtedly User:Michael. - Hephaestos|§ 21:21, 29 May 2004 (UTC)

I am glad to see that your are not dead from a heart attack.--Youssef 21:23, 29 May 2004 (UTC)
Heh, me too. :) Thanks for letting me know. - Hephaestos|§ 21:58, 29 May 2004 (UTC)

You say "there are many other articles by user:Ruiz deserving to be translated". A list of what you think merits the effort would be useful. -- Jmabel 05:56, Sep 24, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Article Licensing

Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 1000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:

To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:

Option 1
I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

OR

Option 2
I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk)

[edit] Copyvio

I notice that you placed a copyvio tag on International Military Tribunal for the Far East. Thanks for finding that out. Unfortunately there is a little more involved than just placing the copyvio tag on the article - could you look at Wikipedia:Copyright problems for the process? Thanks, violet/riga (t) 13:39, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] MSFT, China, US

Can you summarize the findings of this book of what the U.S. might do if China bans Microsoft products? The paragraph you added does not convey enough context. zen master T 17:46, 21 May 2005 (UTC)

You mean to say you haven't read the book? Do you have any knowledge on what the U.S. might do? Is there evidence China and/or other countries are thinking of banning Microsoft products? The paragraph you added needs more contextual info. Try google maybe. zen master T 17:55, 21 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Stubs

Thanks for adding the Jean-François Susbielle article. As part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting, I have replaced the generalized stub tag with writer-stub. When you create new articles, it would be great if you could use these more specific tags whenever possible. Thanks, and continue contributing to Wikipedia! Russ Blau (talk) 13:11, May 25, 2005 (UTC)

Oh, one other (related) thing -- on your User page, you say to use for speedy deletion. Actually, the syntax is being phased out, so you should just use delete. Russ Blau (talk) 13:14, May 25, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome!

Welcome!

Hi, and welcome to the Countries WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of counties.

There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:

 • Starting some new articles? See some model pages such as Cambodia!
 • Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every country article in Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask another fellow member, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Shy1520 10:45, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
