To the Admin considering speedy delete:
These articles are part of a very polarized subject. It is clear they are stubs and they will most likely be merged into the main YHRI article.
I agree that there is very little in these articles, but there is also no reason which speedy delete must be applied. Using speedy delete, even if the article might technically qualify, will only increase tension between the two CoS and anti-CoS factions.
In the interest of lowering the conflict, I respectfully request that the articles be left for a few days until they can be merged in and properly deleted by concensus.
Thank you. Lsi john 13:38, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- Unlike the Australia article, this one doesn't seem to have any specific information not found in the main one, so a speedy deletion wouldn't mean any loss. --Tilman 15:33, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yet it would serve to increase tension with the other editors who tend to edit on the other side of the isle from you. Speedy delete would not serve an overall good purpose, in my opinion. This article will be merged or deleted shortly by consensus anyway. Speedy is unnecessary. Lsi john 15:36, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- Removed tag on this and Canada article pending results of merge discussion, which should be allowed to conclude per above. If the result is merge, the deletion issue will be moot anyway. Note I'm on neither side of the debate, just trying to clear CSD backlogs atm. Orderinchaos 18:40, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
