I remember watching the show; since my state had (and still has) a four-digit lottery game where players asked for straight bets as well as boxed bets, I saw that the audience game was VERY unfair, and not well thought out (AFAIK the California Lottery-the show was from Hollywood-has never offered a true four-digit numbers game, but that was not a real excuse); as the digits could appear in any order, an audience member with a number with four different digits had 24 times the chance of coming on stage compared with someone whose number had the same four digits.
