Sources

This is going to be the most simple response. Before anyone else post this Hot Rod article. Please get verified sources. LILVOKA 17:32, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Agreement

I mean, it should definitely still be made (the page), just get sources, like the whole Before I Self Destruct album by 50 Cent thing when it used to be called Live or Die. Fastlane is not a rumoured ablum I'm sure because they already released "Be Easy" on iTunes months ago as well as the video.--NJ Rock 04:18, 21 December 2006 (UTC)NJ Rock

WTF

You guys deleted a page on the rapper? I thought it was just the Fastlane album! This doesn't make sense! He's a rapper. So what if it's a messy page, lock it. Geez, you don't have to close the whole thing down. This is why people say that Wikipedia stinks. Because if someone wants to learn something, they aren't allowed. They have to delete an entire page to prevent people from learning. Some people just want to learn something about Hot Rod. Now they can't.--NJ Rock 05:00, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

I Don't get it?

If the requirement for being in Wikipedia is just to be relevant to a social aspect of some kind I don't understand why this page as well as several others have been deleted. if the information that was being added was just rumor then lock the page. to delete it makes it seem as if he is irrelevant to G-Unit Records as well as his song whick charted on the billboard top 100. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lique Da Peace God (talk • contribs) 10:12, 29 December 2006 (UTC).

Yo, this is odd. According to rule number 6 on what artists can have a page, they have to "Contain at least one member who was once a part of or later joined a band that is otherwise notable." Is G-Unit not a notable band???

Also, as stated by someone else earlier, he fulfills number 11 on the rules page, being put in rotation on radio networks.

Why would you delete an up-and-coming artist? Does Wikipedia not believe in people who have a future? -humpthewind —Preceding unsigned comment added by Humpthewind (talkcontribs) 03:09, January 30, 2007

If you have real, actual, reliable sources about the album, add them to this article. If there is enough info on the album, the album article will be restored. Wikipedia is not a rumor mill. ~ trialsanderrors 04:42, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Name Change

He's no longer "Young Hot Rod", it's just "Hot Rod" now if someone could change that, i would but i know theres another article named Hot Rod and i wouldnt wana mess anything up

I can't find anything about it. If you can link to a news story or something, I'll go ahead and move it. Recury 23:20, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

I havnt got a specific story but ive got a few links from top music sites including the official g-unit one calling him Hot Rod hopefully that will do?

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=66450013

hopefully that last link works, its his myspace where he's listed as "Hot Rod" not "Young Hot Rod". Many thanks

This page says he changed it to Young Hot Rod: "Phoenix, AZ, native Young Hot Rod -- originally known as just Hot Rod -- took a completely different approach..." [1] Recury 14:51, 16 May 2007 (UTC)]

Oh right ok, well i might be wrong then just im pretty big on hip-hop and sites used to list him as Young Hot Rod, but its been Hot Rod for quite some time now. I'll look into it more and try and get some more valid links, thanks anyway

Fair use rationale for Image:Younghotrod5.jpg

Image:Younghotrod5.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
