[edit] POV issue
The last two paragraphs under "Timeline" are advocacy paragraphs and need to be rewritten or eliminated. They don't belong under a timeline anyway. GMcGath 21:22, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] PROD Tag
YCT is a quite large state-wide organization in Texas, there have been many times that YCT has made the national news, so apparently someone thinks that it's more than just a local organization of little importance. Obviously someone on here is just trying to delete the wiki for it because they don't agree with the organization. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.118.191.197 (talk) 22:37, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, I agree that the YCT is probably notable enough. They seem to get a lot of googlenews hits, and I think it is notable enough to remain. Most importantly, they are a self-governing organization, and not just a state federation of a national organization. So, I removed the proposed deletion tag.--RedShiftPA (talk) 16:50, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] non-partisan?
ummm, there's a section describing their endorsement practices. and a quick search of The Daily Texan archives with the term "yct" turns up just over 500 articles. of those, close to 100 mention "republican" in the same breath. even if YCT isn't technically partisan, it certainly is in practice and is perceived that way. 216.188.226.104 (talk) 04:39, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
