[edit] John Lennon song?

Is there a source for the claim that the song was written entirely by Lennon? In The Beatles (p. 554), Bob Spitz writes that unlike most of their songs, which can be credited to one writer or the other, this one was a "near-perfect collaboration." Nareek 16:46, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

Paul claims it was co-written('Many Years From Now'), but that it was John's original idea, and gives John 60% of the credit for it. --84.208.224.234 (talk) 04:56, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

John Lennon gave a short "That's me", when David Sheff asked about the song in the famous 1980 Playboy interview. --84.208.224.234 (talk) 05:14, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
