This image does not appear to be Piper methysticum. Rather it seems to be Piper auritum - see also http://kavaforum.org/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=21

I agree, P m has smoother upper leaf surfaces and the leaves are more 'rectangular'. --220.237.63.218 18:32, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
