Yoshiaki Hoshi (星 吉昭 Hoshi Yoshiaki?, 1946-03-16 - 2004-10-01), also known as Himekami (姫神?) after the musical group he founded, is a Japanese musician, born in Wakayanagi (now Kurihara), Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. Hoshi won the 1971 Victor Electronic Music Contest, and founded Himekami Sensation in 1980. His debut album was Oku no Hosomichi, released in 1981. In 1984, the group name was changed to Himekami. Hoshi was known for being very friendly with his fans, and thanking them for purchasing his works.

Hoshi died of a heart attack on 2004-10-01 at 1:21am.[1][2] His funeral was held on 2004-10-24 at a Shinto shrine in Hiraizumi, Iwate Prefecture.[3]
