Yosef Mishlav

Aluf (Major General) Yosef Mishlav (b. 1952) is an Israeli Druze general in the Israel Defense Forces and currently the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories. He joined the IDF in November 1970, and among other posts, served as Deputy Commander of IDF Forces in Lebanon. During this time he attended various IDF officer courses, and received an B.A. in Political Science from Haifa University. In 2001 Mishlav was appointed the head of the Israeli Home Front Command. Two years later Mishlav was promoted to his current position.
