Description

Yes, the water is flowing over the observation deck here. Anyone who's been here on a "normal" day in Spring will gasp a bit at the sight. Yosemite Creek overflowed its banks during the May 2005 flood. To be honest, I and a few others skirted caution tape to take a look at the water flowing over (yes, over) the Lower Yosemite Falls viewpoint. It was a stunning sight to witness all that power so close. Yosemite National Park, California
