Yorkshire Cup (horse race)

The Yorkshire Cup is a Group 2 flat horse race in the United Kingdom for four-year-old and above thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 1 mile 6 furlongs (2,816 m) at York Racecourse in May.

It was first run in 1927 and was run over a distance of 2 miles (3,219 m) prior to 1966. In 1945 it was run as the Yorkshire Autumn Cup.
