York Regional Road 34 is a major north-south route from Toronto, Ontario and travels through York Region. York Regional Road 34 could be referred to as Bayview Avenue and Prospect Street.
York Regional Road 34 travels through Markham, Richmond Hill; Aurora, and Newmarket.
York Regional Road 34 starts to run north-south past Steeles Avenue, and continues through the suburbs of Richmond Hill, Oak Ridges, and as far north as Newmarket.
As part of the York Regional Road 34, Bayview Avenue reaches to Fairy Lake in Newmarket, Ontario. The road turned a 140 degree turn. After that, the rest of the road until York Regional Road 31 is referred to as Prospect Street.
The communities that the road passes through are considered to be among the most expensive residential real estate and the most prestigious neighbourhoods in all of Canada. These areas include the intersections at York Regional Road 29, and Steeles Avenue.
