The York Railway (AAR reporting marks YRC) is a class III railroad operating between York and Hanover, Pennsylvania. It is owned by holding company Genesee and Wyoming and was formerly known as Yorkrail Inc (AAR reporting marks YKR). According to the Genesee and Wyoming's website, York Railway has 42 miles (68 km) of track. It resulted from the merger of the Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad and Yorkrail.
