York Memorial Collegiate Institute is a high school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located at 2690 Eglinton Avenue West, at the corner of Keele St. and Eglinton Avenue West. The school was established in 1929. The school's name was a tribute to former students who became fallen soldiers during the war.[citation needed] The school is fondly referred to as "Memo" by students. The school boasts 1200+ students; a huge and competent student and staff body and an excellent working community.

York Memorial is known for its RUSH and AP programs. The RUSH program stands for Roadmap to University Scholars and Honours. It is an enrichment program that trains students for the full AP programs. The Advanced Placement Program at York Memorial is well-known. AP courses are offered in a wide variety of subjects, from mathematics to sciences to the humanities. AP courses offered to date include: Biology, Statistics, English, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, French, Spanish, Economics, Computer Science, World History and Calculus. The Pre-Advanced Placement program was established for students who want to take the AP challenge. York Memorial has had great success especially with AP Psychology.
