York Archaeological Trust

The York Archaeological Trust for Excavation and Research Limited is a large private archaeological organisation operating in the United Kingdom, based in the city of York.
It was founded in 1972 as a charitable trust and carries out education and outreach work focusing on York's considerable archaeological resource. It also runs the JORVIK Viking Centre and DIG: an archaeological adventure. The medieval Barley Hall in the city is run for the Trust by a separate charity.
