- October 7, 1901 - Station opens as Jōbu Railway (present-day Chichibu Railway) starts its first line between Kumagaya and Yorii[1]
- April 2, 1903 - Jōbu Railway extends the line from Yorii to Hagure[1]
- July 10, 1925 - Tōbu Railway extends the Tōjō Main Line from Ogawamachi to Yorii[2]
- January 25, 1933 - Japanese Government Railways extends the Hachikō North Line from Kodama to Yorii[3]
- October 6, 1934 - New line between Yorii and Ogawamachi opens and merges the Hachikō North and South Lines to form the Hachikō Line[3]
