Yorcard is a proposed form of electronic smartcard ticketing for use in South / West Yorkshire. It will be a multi-modal smartcard for use on the regions buses, train and tram networks. Further information will be made available in Spring 2007 before a 1 year pilot commences in September 2007.

The system follows the lead of the Oyster Card for use on public transport by Transport for London.
