Talk:York Regional Road 32
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I had some trouble determining the road's western and eastern termini when writing this. Here are my thoughts.
Google Maps only lists Ravenshoe as a regional road starting at Leslie/The Queensway. However, the York Region document "York Region Road Inventory Network and Ownership" clearly shows that the regional road status applies all the way to the Holland Marsh. (Link = http://yorkexplorer.york.ca/yorkexplorer/pdf/2006_RoadInventoryOwnershipID_XLrg.pdf). An official York Region document should be considered authoritative, so that's why I assumed that regional road status extends to the Holland Marsh.
Wikipedia's list of York Roads (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_York_Regional_Roads) lists the eastern terminus as the York/Durham Line. However, I again consulted the York Region Road Inventory document (http://yorkexplorer.york.ca/yorkexplorer/pdf/2006_RoadInventoryOwnershipID_XLrg.pdf). This clearly shows that Ravenshoe's regional road status extends beyond the York/Durham Line, past Park Road, past Weir's Sdrd, all the way to Lake Ridge Road. I think that an official York Region document is more authoritative than an un-sourced link on this website, so it's safe to say that regional road status extends as far east as Lake Ridge. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eddieshore4 (talk • contribs)
- I agree with using the official map. --NE2 01:14, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
