Yongpyeong is a district (myeon) of Pyeongchang County in Gangwon-do, South Korea.

It is best known for the Yongpyong Resort (whose office is actually not in Yongpyeong-myeon but in Doam-myeon) with a peak at 1,438 metres or 4,717 feet. As well as world class skiing facilities, the resort offers golf in the summer months. The ski season runs from November - early April. Yongpyong was a candidate resort for the 2010 Winter Olympics, ultimately missing out to Vancouver. Yongpyong Resort has hosted races in both the alpine and disabled alpine skiing World Cups.

Some scenes of the popular drama Winter Sonata were filmed at the resort.
