Yokkaichi Station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Yokkaichi Station (四日市駅) is a railway station on the Kansai Main Line (Central Japan Railway Company), Ise Railway and Japan Freight Railway Company in Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture, Japan.
Yokkaichi station opened in December 25, 1890. It was nationalized in 1907 and privatized in 1987.
Expresses named Wideview Nanki(ワイドビュー南紀) stop there. But the downtown of Yokkaichi near Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station is about 1km far from there, so passengers are less than those of Kintetsu Station.
Yokkaichi Station has three platforms. Trains for Nagoya stop at first platform and those for Tsu at second one. The third one is for Ise Railway.
