Yoichi Fukumoto is a professional Mixed Martial Artist, fighting out of Wajitsu Keishukai RJW.
He grew up in Sasebo City in Nagasaki, and at 18 years old, went to technical school in Fukuoka. He first saw pro-wrestling and decided he wanted to become a strong professional fighter. He moved back to Nagasaki and joined the Wajitsu Keishukai, who's headquarters where then located there. After training there for three years, he moved to Tokyo to train at the WK in Chiba Prefecture.
He's been training and fighting for eight years. His record is seven wins seven losses in MMA.
His goal is to fight the world's top fighters and win. He is training as a pro while working as staff in a professional sports showroom.
His favorite quote is, Ishi no ue ni mo san nen. "must be on the stone for at least three years." Meaning, "If you try something, you must stick it out or you won't see any results."
