Born on April 30, 1952 in the Vedic family of Pandit Bishambar Singh Yogiraj Bharat Bhushan ji is the first ever 'Padma Shri' recipient in the field of Yoga. The only orthodox vegetarian body builder of international repute, Yogi Bharat Bhushan was awarded Padma Shri for his contribution in improving health and spreading general awareness about yoga. A teacher by profession, Yogi Bharat Bhushan has travelled in various parts of the globe with the message of yoga and is presently engaged in a nation wide campaign "Dhyan Yog" consisting of a series of yoga camps in various parts of India.
