Yogi Bear's Big Break

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Yogi Bear's Big Break" was the first episode in the Yogi Bear cartoon series. It debuted in the premiere segment of The Huckleberry Hound Show on October 2, 1958. It was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. The animation was done by Kenneth Muse. Charles Shows and Dan Gordon crafted the story, which turned out to be atypical for the show.

[edit] Plot synopsis

Yogi wants to get as far away from Jellystone Park and its patronizing tourists as he can (in later episodes, he would become a notorious tourist stalker and food thief). He devises a series of elaborate but futile escape plans, several of which are foiled by a sharp-eyed park ranger.
