In reply to an email for the benefit of reviewing admins:
I'm sorry, I reviewed your contributions and while it is possible that you are not a sockpuppet per se, you have acted on behalf of or in a manner indistinguishable from Sfacets and the block will remain since meatpuppetry is just as inapropriate as sockpuppetry. I refer you to the relevant policy: Wikipedia:Sock
You are, of course, welcome to contest that block on your userpage (which you can edit even if blocked) by placing a {{unblock}} template there. Another admin will then be able to review the situation. — Coren (talk)
In response to your further email.
I'm sorry, but no. Per WP:SOCK: "A new user who engages in the same behavior as another user in the same context, and who appears to be editing Wikipedia solely for that purpose, shall be subject to the remedies applied to the user whose behavior they are joining."
Again, you are welcome to request an unblock review by another admin, but I will not unblock myself. — Coren (talk) 14:57, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
The review of this block lends no support to whether or not the user is a sock. There is no valid reason to assert that this user is my sockpuppet, any simple checkuser will attest to this. Agreeing to my edits is not evidence that this account is linked to mine. Sfacets 05:34, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
