[edit] Fritz Walter (footballer, 1960)
I have announced your new stub at Portal:Germany/New article announcements. Please add any other Germany-related articles you create there. If you need help with Germany-related things, check out the talk page of the German-speaking noticeboard. Happy editing, Kusma (討論) 02:46, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Reason for deletion
Please provide an adequate reason for deletion. For three AfD's, you just wrote "I think this person hasn't importance in any country". If you could add something like if the subject fails WP:BIO, write in "Fails WP:BIO" or stuff of that nature.

[edit] Your AfDs for Idol contestants
You've created a lot of AfDs for contestants of American Idol-style shows. Many of them say that these people fail WP:MUSIC, but they don't; WP:MUSIC has a clause stating: "Has won or placed in a major music competition"; it also says that a person is notable if it meets any one of the criteria. Crystallina 15:21, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
I think that American Idol and the other Versions of it surely AREN'T a major music competition!!! In a major music competition contest EXPERIENCED singers and not people who are NOTHING who are nothing without this competition. A major music competition has also TRADITION like the Eurovision Song Contest Yoda1893 15:40, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- Regardless of what you may consider the quality of such contestants' music, the definition of a 'major music competition' includes the competition being widely attended or televised, and receiving much press coverage - experience is not a factor here. Crystallina 15:48, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
I think there are not much people who would say that a contest, where teeenager contests who are half children, is a major contest, this is only YOUR definition or do you see this defined in this way on WP:music? Yoda1893 16:18, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
-
- The word 'major' is by definition subjective - there's been discussion on the WP:MUSIC talk page of changing it to 'notable' or something of the sort - but criteria most people seem to bring up are press coverage, viewership, and scope. Crystallina 17:23, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] SuperStar KZ merge and my reversions/unreversions
Sorry about reverting some of your changes relating to the merge of the season 3 article with SuperStar KZ. I've unreverted my reverts, so it's back to what you did. However, it probably would help everyone in the future if you were to have a more descriptive edit summary than "link" (especially when you remove a link) -- maybe say why you're removing the link? Thanks. -- ArglebargleIV 17:28, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
The link is by a deleted article Yoda1893 17:30, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
The link was to an article that hadn't been deleted yet when I saw the edit. I know what happened now -- but if you had done a explanatory edit summary, people like me would not have treated the delinking as possible vandalism that needed to be undone. Good edit summaries can prevent a lot of misunderstandings. -- ArglebargleIV 17:34, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] information removal in Serbia national basketball team
Please see my response on the article talk page, as your edits contradict themselves, this as well as your "rv stop serbisation" [1] comment in the edit summary make feel as your edits are done in bad faith. // Laughing Man 00:09, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Cacau
Thanks for the note. I added the tag because the article on en: didn't have any sources; I didn't think to check de:. I will add them later. --Merovingian ※ Talk 19:08, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hello
Hi, I am Italian. Thank you so much for updating our italian wiki. Do you have Messenger? I read that you do not understand Italian. I would like to understand German too. :-) If you want, you can write on my Italian wikipedia discussion page in English. --Freddyballo 21:57, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Translation of VfB Stuttgart
I saw your translation request, and I'm willing to help. My level of German is very basic, but I've got football articles to FA before. Oldelpaso 17:58, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Andreas Hinkel
That page (the Sevilla site) doesn't say he has actually moved to Celtic yet, just that he has been offered terms that he would accept. The article also states that an agreement has yet to be made between Celtic and Sevilla. I think it will happen, but it hasn't yet. Thanks Whitstable (talk) 23:33, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- In German TV Hinkel explained that he has passed medical check-up and will move to Celtic. Yoda1893 (talk) 23:36, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
-
- Yes, that article also says he has passed a medical. Personal terms have been agreed but the two clubs have yet to finalise the deal. It will happen, I am sure, but it hasn't quite happened yet. Whitstable (talk) 23:38, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Jonathan Pitroipa
Are you sure Pitroipa has joined Hamburg? Both SC Freiburg's official site and Kicker.de still list him in Freiburg's squad. Or is he joining Hamburg next season? - Dudesleeper Talk 12:41, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- Never mind. I've just seen the note in his article. - Dudesleeper Talk 12:42, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
