Yo Mahesh

Yo Mahesh (full name VijayKumar Yo Mahesh, born December 21, 1987), is an Indian Cricket player. He is right-hand batsman, right-arm medium-fast bowler. He caught the attention of administrators with his good performance while playing under-19 cricket.

He broke into the Indian U19 one-day squad for the series against Australia in September 2005 and played sufficiently well to retain his squad place for both the Afro-Asian Cup and the U19 World Cup in Sri Lanka this year.

In his ten U19 ODIs to date, he has taken 15 wickets with a strike rate of one wicket every 32 balls. He is not strong with the bat and when selected usually bats at no. 11.

Yo Mahesh joined the Delhi Daredevils for the Indian Premier League and has made his presence felt in the 2008 edition with some intelligent bowling performances.
