Yli-Ii

Yli-Ii (Överijo in Swedish) is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Oulu and is part of the Northern Ostrobothnia region. The municipality has a population of 2,322 (2003) and covers an area of 795.39 km² of which 25.78 km² is water. The population density is 3.0 inhabitants per km².
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
Yli-Ii is probably best known from a pre-historical museum called Kierikkikeskus.
