[edit] Summary
Vase: Measuring 12-1/2" high and 8-1/4" in diameter. Imposing vase, wide and bulbous at the bottom that tapers to a thin neck and flares at the very top. It is beautifully proportioned in a greenish-white glaze with no decoration except that the application of the glaze has dripped in places giving the feeling of a design. The glaze evenly covers the vase and is attractive in its simplicity. Excellent condition except for a minor crack at the neck and a minor chip at the rimmed foot. Yi dynasty. 15th 16th Century.
From the private collection of Paul V. and Elizabeth J. Colaianni.
