Yeysk (Russian: Ейск) is a port town and the administrative center of Yeysky District of Krasnodar Krai. Population: 86,349 (2002 Census); 78,150 (1989 Census).

It is located on the Taganrog Gulf of the Sea of Azov at the neck of the Yeya Spit that separates the Yeya Firth of the Yeya River from the sea.

The town was founded in 1848 by prince Mikhail Vorontzov according to Russian Tzar's order.

Yeysk has a mild climate. Average temperature in January is 4 °C (39.2 °F). Summers are very warm, with average July temperature of 24 °C (75.2 °F). Average rainfall is about 450 mm a year.

Yeisk is known for its mineral waters and mud with alleged medical properties. There are three parks, a sanatorium, recreation centres, a system of hotels, and sandy beaches in Yeysk. The swimming season lasts from May till September. It is possible to find a great number of attractions, restaurants, open-air cafes, clubs, bars, discos in town.
