Yew Chung International School (YCIS) provides Preschool through Secondary education in China, Hong Kong and, most recently, the United States. The school was founded in 1932 by Madame Tsang Chor-hang, a relative of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen. Yew Chung International School has developed a unique educational model and teaching methodology that has led the school to be recognized as an authority in international education throughout Asia. The curriculum is taught through thematic teaching, which ties a common theme through all subjects taught in a semester. The school offers an excellent teaching environment.

All schools feature a bilingual, bi-cultural education in Mandarin Chinese and English. YCIS's philosophy centers around "holistic education." The schools also place heavy emphasis on "global commitment" and eco-conscious living.

Dr. Betty Chan, daughter of the school's founder, is currently the Director of Yew Chung International School.

Lots of oversea staff work at Yew Chung.
