[edit] Welcome

Welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Yeshy! I'm MLA. I noticed that you were new and haven't received any messages yet and thought I'd say hi. You might be interested in some of these links about editing wikipedia.

There are a lot of policies and guides to read, but I highly recommend reading over those first. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Please be sure to sign your name on Talk Pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, along with a link to your user page.

Separately, I see that you created the article Thirumayilai. I've turned it into a redirect to Mylapore as you wrote that this was the former name. I couldn't find much about Thirumayilai when I searched and the article that you wrote didn't link properly, and didn't have any external sources that verify the claims. I'd be happy to help out if you want to keep working on it. Drop me a line on my talk page if you'd like to discuss. MLA 11:43, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:H.s.s.s.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:H.s.s.s.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Hi Yeshy, you asked for my help though I'm not sure what it was that you were after. The automatic message you received above was about the Image:H.s.s.s.jpg and its copyright status. In order to know what the copyright status is, wikipedia needs to know where it comes from and who owns the copyright. Is it your picture? If not, where did it come from?

On the other contributions, I removed the capitalisation in the title for the Hindu Secondary School in line with the Wikipedia:Manual of style. Was there anything else that you were looking for help with? MLA 14:19, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
