what little we know about the Cures. I say we merge this back into the main Pretty Cure article until we know more.--GracieLizzie 22:29, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
I have added some character and show info into this article. You can check them out in the "Current notes" section which I have added to this article. Tikal-chan 14:08, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
I disagree. While Precure 5 is considered part of the Precure series, it itself is a different series using different settings, evironments, and characters with no tie-in to the original series.

[edit] Character Bio Revamp

The character bio section needs some editing, mainly because there's so much information in there that can be counted as trivia. I don't think we should include how so-and-so is just like what's-her-face from the previous series; I think that can be just put into the trivia. It really makes the character description off topic and messy. Justicebullet 06:06, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

I agree with this. All of this similarity stuff doesn't seem to fit, and most of it is opinion-based (i.e. I don't see how is Komachi is like Michiru). Maximum Burst 07:40, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

Back when Y!PC5 was the upcoming new series, the fandom hadn't quite gotten used to the idea that Pretty Cure was no longer fundamentally about Nagisa and Honoka. Saki and Mai were still seen as simply Nagisa and Honoka with funny hair by many people, and so when we learned there would be another new continuity, everyone assumed they would again be just the same characters we knew with slight changes (which isn't even true of Splash Star--what Mai and Honoka have in common is that they have pale skin and dark hair). So they figured we really had five characters--Nagisa (and her unworthy knockoff Saki), Honoka (and her pale imitation Mai), Hikari, Michiru, and Kaoru--and so when the first sketches of Cure Dream, Rouge, Lemonade, Mint, and Aqua came out, people naturally decided to get to assigning. Mint and Dream were closer to resembling Michiru and Honoka, respectively, than anyone else. Aqua had long hair and eyes that are pointed at the top, so she was obviously Kaoru rather than Nagisa and Hikari. And then Rouge and Lemonade are obvious.
You might think that, when people came to the realization that Komachi looks almost exactly like Retasu from Tokyo Mew Mew (whom, we presumably can safely assume, is not frequently thought of as being a green-haired version of Michiru), that would have killed this off. But you'd be wrong.
For the record, I've never really seen Komachi-Michiru either, and I also thought from the start that Karen looked like Honoka with different eyes. --Andrusi (talk) 20:32, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] North Americans?

What's this mention about North Americans seeing PreCure on the 3rd or something?

Yes, it does seem pretty redundant. We should remove it and replace it with the day and time the show airs. Justicebullet 05:18, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Episode Guide

Someone took out the thorough summaries in order to save space. While clean-up is important on this article, I do believe we should have a separate page for the episode guide so as to not clog up this page. Justicebullet 04:23, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
