Coordinates: 14°37′60″N 78°31′60″E / 14.6333, 78.5333 Yerraguntla or Erraguntla is a census town and mandal in Cuddapah district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Yerraguntla is called a land of Cement Factories.The Factories like India Cements Limited (Yerraguntla), India Cements Limited (Chilamkur) and Zuari Cements (now its Itali Cementi Group) are famous for Manufacuring Cement. Another Factory is under Construction. [1]

Yerraguntla is located at 14.6333° N 78.5333° E.[2] It has an average elevation of 152 meters (501 feet).

As of 2001 India census[3], Yerraguntla had a population of 26,736. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Yerraguntla has an average literacy rate of 60%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 70%, and female literacy is 50%. In Yerraguntla, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Its a semi arid region to the South of Andhra Pradesh. The small town is surrounded by three cement factories. And another cement factory is being buit in the town thus providing enormous employment opportunity to the people. There is also a thermal powers station.
