Yeralash

Yeralash (Russian: Ералаш) is a Russian (formerly Soviet) children's comedy TV show and children's comedy magazine. Yeralash also runs an actor studio and the "Yeralash Island" camp. The word Eralash means "muddle, mess, or jungle" in the Russian language.

The Yeralash TV show is aired on the Channel One and featuring mostly child actors. Yeralash was on air since 1974. As of year 2005, it has released 191 episodes. A typical episode consists of 2-4 unrelated comedy scenes. The show featured numerous notable present-day celebrities such as the Russian singer Yulia Volkova from the band t.A.T.u., the Russian singer Vlad Topalov and the Russian singer Glyukoza.

Yeralash also releases a children's comedy magazine. As of October 29, 2006, Yeralash has released eight magazines. The magazines featured anecdotes and humorous stories. Each magazine consists of 7-13 articles. It is published by the Drofa publishing house.
