From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search Yerba Buena High School is a public comprehensive four-year high school located in the East San Jose area of San Jose, California, USA. It is one of the better performing high schools in East San Jose, although it is one of the poorest performing schools in the East Side Union High School District dut to its mexican side. Its athletic teams are known as the Warriors.

The student body is roughly half Mexican American and half Vietnamese American.

Yerba Buena means good herb in the Spanish language. The school was named after a rancho that formerly covered the entire area in the
