[edit] Hudson's Bay Company post at Yerba Buena

Dont' have the details handy, but I do know that Yerba Buena was a post of the HBC's Columbia Department, hq'd at Fort Vancouver on the Columbia River; I'm not sure if this was at the town, or maybe on Yerba Buena Island; if it was at the town then Category:Hudson's Bay Company forts is applicable (although that cat name shoudl maybe say "forts and posts" in its title).Skookum1 (talk) 04:31, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

It was an office on Montgomery Street, one of the first few buildings built after the pueblo was chartered by the Mexican government, and in no way a fort. I think the book "Imperial San Francisco" talks about it briefly. 66.92.14.198 (talk) 06:21, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
