In 2010, the first ever Korean Grand Prix will be held along the harbor side. The race track will be named the Korean International Circuit. The track will be designed by the famous race track designer Hermann Tilke. The circuit will be part permanent, part temporary. Construction is set to begin in 2007, and be completed in 2009. If the deal is completed, the race will continue until 2016. After that, a 5 year option would have to be picked up to keep the race until at least 2021.
