Yeniyol village, Gümüşhane

Yeniyol is a village (older name is Meyhazer),in the area of central district of Gümüşhane Province. It is located in the Harşit valley, on the both side of Gümüşhane- Bayburt road at the 17th km. Harşit creek(which is parallel to the road) divide the village into two parts.

This village takes place in the most beautiful villagas with a green nature and hard-working people. It has a special and cultural environment. It is famous with its own Pestil, which is traditional food, rosehip(kuşburnu), apple (çok ekşidir) and vegetables. Also it has an important role in the economy of the Gümüşhane.
