The yellow stingray (Urobatis jamaicensis) is a species of fish in the Urolophidae family. It is found in Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, the Dominican Republic, French Guiana, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, the United States, Venezuela, and possibly Brazil. Its natural habitats are shallow seas, subtidal aquatic beds, estuarine waters, and coastal saline lagoons.
