Yellow #5 is a California-based rock band with a strong New Orleans vibe. The band features vocalist/bassist Molly McGuire and guitarist David Catching. The debut album, Demon Crossing, also features Brant Bjork on drums; their drummer for live shows is Jose Medeles (The Breeders).
Yellow No. 5 is also a Pennsylvania-based rock band founded by Jason Cooper and Mike Litzinger in 1993, adding drummer Steve Gramley shortly thereafter. The band went on indefinite hiatus in 1999, occasionally reuniting at individual members' solo performances. During their prime, the band drew significant local crowds to their live performances, and released two studio albums. In 1996, Litzinger filed for (and currently still holds) the trademark to the name "Yellow No. 5" for use in commerce.
Yellow No. 5 is also the name of a rock band from Ohio.
