The Yellow-spotted Salamander (Ranodon flavomaculatus) is a species of salamander in the Hynobiidae family. It is endemic to China. is common throughout the east coast of the United States and Canada. Its natural habitats are temperate forests and temperate shrubland. It is threatened by habitat loss.
