The Yellow-spotted Petronia (Petronia pyrgita) is a species of bird in the Passeridae family. It is found in Chad, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda. Its natural habitats are dry savanna and subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland.
