The Yellow-rumped Serin or Abyssinian Yellow-rumped Seedeater (Serinus xanthopygius) is a species of finch in the Fringillidae family. It is found in Eritrea and Ethiopia. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
