The Yellow-breasted Crake (Porzana flaviventer) is a species of bird in the Rallidae family. It is found in Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, French Guiana, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, Venezuela, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and possibly Ecuador. Its natural habitat is swamps.
