[edit] Summary

This is a drawing of the Yellow Pages Endeavour, a record breaking sailboat. This shows the rigid wingsail mounted on a Y shaped aka, the crew carrying ama to windward, and the two planing/hydrofoil hulls that make up the vaka to windward, operating in each other's wake. Often called a "trimaran", the layout is more correctly described as a unidirectional proa with a split vaka.
