YEKISHIM (the word is a PERSIAN mix of two words, yeki,and shim)
YEKISHIM (used as the central concept of Shokof,s Maximalism ) is a word made from two Persian words (yeki) and (shim). (Yek) means one in Persian and (Shim, beshavim) is to form, and or to become.Daryush Shokof combined these two words to create a new word (yekishim) meaning ,LET US UNITE. the word has been used by shokof in his manifest of Maximalism believing that unity of human being is the ultimate goal of mankind on Earth:

Shokof and his long time associate actress Taies Farzan (Persian, born in Tehran, Iran)started a movement under Yekishim concept and called it (Unification 2000) in Berlin, Germany in year 2000;

the event was meant to get people connected to one another symbolically in one day of the year, somewhere in the world, and by as many people as possible who would gather to touch each other,s ear lobe in a symbolic way of getting connected to one another ( copying the configuration from his own film Seven Servants where different people from different races get connected to Anthony Quinn by plugging up his facial openings) in Berlin (as te first city for the event), Germany, in the year 2000. Daryush Shokof and Taies Farzan teamed up with Willi Kausch (organizer of the Berlin New Year party at Brandenburg gate), and Rainer Jäck (Senate for City project Developements in Berlin) the start of such an installation (gathering) of people connecting to one another to be the day of world YEKISHIM.

Shokof starts the ideology of Yekishim by a reference, and respect to all other religions and concludes that the ultimate goal ,reason, task, meaning, for mankind to be on Earth is to become united regardless which idea, belief, and or religion one belongs to.
He writes; "There has never been an advance thought, philosophy, and or a religion that has provoked people to Kill their mothers, rape their sisters, and or steal the belongings of anyone on Earth. all great thoughts have tried to show mankind the ways to become a better human being, and proceed a better life, while making a better society on Earth;"
He then continues;
"The great and advanced prophet of Islam (Mohammad) has been so revolutionary, and daring of a person that he told the Arabs of the time NOT TO BURY their daughters alive (try to tell many moslem nations not to STONE women alive for adultery even today where moslem men can have 4 women legally in many moslem countries), and with it he actually made a most advanced first steps available for women's freedom , and value of women amongst a most brutal societies on Earth and at a most vicious times with such bravery of words that many moslem scholars can not even talk as openly at this date and time in the world of Islam, about many issues such as Gay rights and or the rights of Lesbians to the other moslems. Shokof refers to the barbarism of a ritual STONING that currently takes place in a most advanced Islamic country Iran where he is born, and under an Islamic Republic government." He, further concludes that Islam, never ever did preach anything but Brotherhood of all men, and Sisterhood of the women to men who are not their husbands.
Jesus was a revolutionary man with the purest heart who stood for the rights of the poor, the underprivileged, and spread the true sense of love to the mankind. He created the amazing notion of peace in the only religion that remains faithful to the idea of (once slapped in the face turn the other cheek). such an advanced thoughts is not even digested by Christians at our times as we continue to have many wars led by Christian societies under Christian governments.
Buddha shows the world a whole perspective of enlightenment that one can only see in great phases of advancement in the thoughts of other rare human beings on Earth such as ATTAR, KHAYYAM, and RUMI, and with the highest regards he mentions Mansour Hallaj , and continues that all these extraordinary human beings have preached the worthlessness of the wealth , and possessions , and worldly belongings, and preached PURIFICATION of one's soul to reach Nirvana, God, Light, and.....
Shokof concludes that therefore, there is not ONE single world belief that preaches brutality, racism, segregation of man kind, GREED, POWER, and or hate. he continues that YEKISHIM brings all the reasons to the point that regardless of the belief one can have, the FINAL attempt in living a healthy, positive, constructive, and fruitful life is to have that aim of UNITY in mind, and any maximalist in search of Yekishim should follow all and any religions when one sees the perspectives of UNITY of mankind in those thoughts. He concludes that he has many a times followed the principles and ways of many great religions in his life,and that he has found pleasure knowing all of them, and again and at the end of the day he has returned to the belief that UNITY of mankind on Earth and his TALE of Maximalism Manifest can continue to be useful, and the one to be proud to continue living for on Earth.

He wrote the manifest of Maximalism in Germany in 1990 and published it in an art exhibition of the maximalists (the artists in the first show of Maximalism at gallery Schulze included milan Kunc, Waine Vaccari, Aligieri Boetti, luigi Ontani,robert Green,Donghi,mark Kostabi, Jeff Koons, Komar and Melamid, jim Dine, marcello Jori, jan Knapp, daryush Shokof, and ......) in which he begins his thoughts with an explanation that the urgency of writing the manifest came to him in a dream that was so mesmerizing that it compelled him to talk, write, draw,paint,and make an sculpture based on the idea of mankind getting connected to one another and finally led way to make a movie about it .He says the concept of his YEKISHIM (to become ONE) came to him in that dream (he mentioned at the Locarno Film Festival press conference where his film Seven Servants was screened that the story of the film 'Seven Servants' had come to him in a dream which repeated itself 3 times in a night in Cologne, Germany) the film Seven Servants is a truly gripping and most original movie starring Anthony Quinn in 1996,Germany.The film has appeared in many top ten movie rankings worldwide amongst which in the 12 films that broke all the rules alongside some very unique films in cinema history:

He continues suggesting that using the word YEKISHIM can be used by people greeting one another like Salaam, hello, .... he suggests by using this word every day, and mean it from the heart, and in any laguage people desire,can be a healthy simple ritual in bringing people together. he suggests the word can be used by anyone and regardless where in the world they use it to greet one another and regardless of anyone,s religion, and or belief. He suggests the usage of the word Yekishim has an automatic positive effect on people relating to one another, and more so if they start taking the word to their heart each time they use it on greeting someone, and or even saying it to oneself. here are some of the thoughts of Maximalism (the manifest) and writings about Yekishim (the goal) from his catalog of paintings at Gallery Schulze in Cologne, Germany in 1990:
1.TEMPLE; If one desires to pray,he suggests the greatest pray of all is to pray for unity of mankind on Earth (YEKISHIM), and that Earth is the temple of the Maximalists and its gates are open to everyone, everywhere, in any language, facing anywhere,and at any time of the day.all one has to do is to wish for unity by repeating the word YEKISHIM for as many times as one wants to,and or not saying the word at all and wish it in heart only.
2.HOLIES, SAINTS, PROPHETS: all those saints, and Holies, and Prophets who claim the ladders of holiness, and reach GOD, and become enlightened, would be told by GOD; o.k., now GO BACK TO EARTH nad make my people UNITE. their UNITY is the greatest religion you could all bring to them.
3.Final Unification; is when God forgives Satan and lets him join God to create the final and eternal peace in cosmos. final unification can only happen with our unity on Earth.God waits for our unity to prove to Satan that God,s creatures can overcome all Satan,s evil ways, thoughts, and manipulations.
4.RACISM; is the greatest evil on Earth as it delays the phase of final unification between God and Satan.with their unity all the truth about the creation would become clear, and to help God and Satan create the final unification we need to unite on earth and show Satan that he has been wrong for having separated from God.only our unity can bring shame and end to Satan and his evil perspectives for so long.Racism is Satan,s picture of Heaven.
5.Melancholy; is the sad phase of separation between God and Satan as they wait and long for their reunion in peace for so many years. melancholy can only disappear once we unite on Earth, and cause the final unification which creates eternal peace in the cosmos.the reason old nations listen to sadder songs, and or make , sing or compose sad songs is that they are more aware of the phase of melancholy existing in the cosmos (the separation between, God and Satan).the older the nations are the closer they are still to the birth of creation, and can still feel the melancholy existing in the cosmos.
6.GOD IS A FEMALE BEING, Shokof suggests not only women are equal with men, but that God is a female being. God must be a most desirable female being as all major prophets are said to be men and they have all flown into a hole in the skies after they leave earth to reach God. All giant structures on Earth have been made by men and are as if erected male organs(Eiffel Tower, Empire State Building, Twin Towers, all Mosques resemble female Breasts at the top, and all trees grow upwardly when growing,...) and they all shoot up into the skies.

YEKISHIM EVENT
Shokof alongside his long time close associate Taies Farzan started a crusade of Unification of mankind as a global event.This amazing and daring concept of an event was to take place in Berlin , Germany in 2000 and under the title of UNIFICATION 2000. This was to have as many people getting connected to one another under the Brandenburg Tower in Berlin in 2000. Shokof and Taies Farzan travelled to many countries under a contractual agreement with the Berlin Senate for development, and an associate by the name of willi Kausch and with the support of the city of Berlin. They successfully attracted many personalities to join this extraordinary event for mankind connecting to one another symbolically and once each year. They travelled from France, and USA to Italy, and Spain, and England, and met many personalities who were much supportive of the event but due to an unfortunate financial complications the event never took place in Berlin. However Shokof and Taies Farzan continued the execution of the concept at the Hannover EXPO 2000 where many nations in their folk costumes joined the two in getting symbolically connected to one another by touching earlobes with a finger. a documentary film of such a symbolic connection was made and the film can be seen in part in the web site of Daryush Shokof Taies Farzan under (unification 2000), and the below address:
